Since our initial facility opened in Chicago in 1988, Belmont Trading Company has expanded to offer other full-service facilities in top manufacturing centers around the world:
  • 1988

    Belmont Trading Company is founded in Chicago, Illinois, by Igor Boguslavsky in his condo on Belmont Avenue

  • 1998

    Belmont opens a small facility in Guadalajara, Mexico

  • 1999

    Belmont headquarters moves to a 45,000-square-foot facility in Northbrook, Illinois

  • 1999

    Belmont acquires Datec Technologies in Irvine, Scotland

  • 2002

    Belmont acquires PB Computer Solutions to increase its repair and service capabilities

  • 2003

    Datec moves to a 35,000-square-foot facility in Kilwinning, outside Glasgow, Scotland

  • 2003

    Belmont opens a representative office in Hong Kong, China SAR

  • 2004

    Datec establishes a facility in Sweden

  • 2005

    Belmont expands to Brazil by opening a facility in São Paulo; the following year, it establishes a second location in Manaus.

    Belmont opens a processing center near Bogotá, Colombia

    Belmont (locally known as BTRS) moves to a state-of-the-art, 70,000-square-foot facility in Guadalajara, Mexico

    Datec opens a recycling and recovery facility in Karlskoga, Sweden

    Belmont opens a sales and logistics office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

    Belmont opens a sales and logistics office in Moscow, Russia

    Belmont headquarters moves into a 70,000-square-foot facility in Buffalo Grove, Illinois
