United Arab Emirates
Dubai has emerged as a global city and is the business hub of the Middle East. Located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. With less than five percent of Dubai’s revenue coming from oil, the city’s Western-style business model drives its economy. Tourism, aviation, real estate, and trade are its main industries.
Belmont Trading began to explore the Dubai market in early 2011, finding a strategically located import/export hub to serve customers throughout Africa, India, Russia, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Dubai office was established in late 2011 and is located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, a tax-advantaged area that is home to approximately 1,600 companies.
In Dubai, Belmont Trading operates in partnership with Hawk Freight Services, which has a decade’s worth of logistics experience.
The Dubai facility is compliant with the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) standards and has ISO 9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 certifications.
